RDR Utility Services Group is Hiring an Equipment Operator (FT) Near Clarksburg, WV

Responsibilities:
  • Turn inJSA’s, and equipment/vehicle inspections daily and report all deficiencies to Forman and/or Superintendent
  • Work with and/or around Tele Handler, Skid Steer, Excavators, Dozers and HDPE Fusion Equipment (manual, hydraulic, and electro-fusion)
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from Trucks and Trailers with the use of proper rigging tools and lifting techniques
  • Complete daily job tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate any and all equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
  • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance and a safer work environment
  • Ensure company equipment and material is used properly, maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
  • Assist crews in placing underground plastic piping and connection of residential/consumer service taps
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous underground utility experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • HDPE/MDPE Pipe Fusion experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • Electro Fusion experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • Familiar with working on live gas lines (Preferred, but not required)
  • Familiar with the installation of gas mains and service connections (Preferred, but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • Punctual, Positive Attitude, and Good Communication Skills (Verbally and Written)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Pride in workmanship
  • Safe Land, HDPE Fusion Certification, Ability to operate Tele Handlers, Skid Steers, Excavators, and Dozers. (Preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to read and understand plans, identify HDPE pipe, and fittings used in the construction process (or willing to learn)
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
  • Able to lift, carry, and place heavy objects
  • Able to work when needed
  • Able to work outside in all conditions
